The other day I was conversing with a friend about one of my poems. I asked her if she thought it was too edgy, she replied if I had written it they would crucify me, but you are the poet.
This warmed my heart and filled my eyes. As these words left her lips, they reaffirmed my journey.
Just like gathering kindling for a great fire, I amass courage to bare thoughts.
I am so pleased that I chose not to see the fork on the road, but rather the opportunity of the challenge.
To have given myself the freedom of self expression is most empowering.
He who writes is never alone, and he who reads knows this.
These riddles I write and you decipher are emotional lines between reader and writer.
